WHERE TO GET: Native Pigs

For starters, I suggest you visit the trading posts in your city/municipality/province.  There are trading days for farmers.  Maybe you can ask in the market, the day this happens.  Or, ask your MAO (Municipal Agriculture Officer) for leads.

I our case, we got from the Sunday farmers' market in our area.  Livestock and poultry are brought down by the farmers for trading.

Pricing:  PHP1500-2000/piglet

Some leads:

ISABELA
1) Santiago:  early Sunday mornings, at the arena/field

TARLAC
1) Luisita: Camelot Farm

QUEZON
1) Tiaong: DA Burea of Animal Industry (042) 585-7727

Please feel free to post comments and leads to suppliers.  Names, address and contact details are appreciated. That way we all help one another :)
